Climb the Ladder

Jacobs Ladder is located 680 metres from the main parking lot. Climb the 175 stairs from Lepper Brook to Serpentine Drive, to climb up the face of the gorge.

Located approximately 1 km from the main parking lot, you’ll find the Joe Howe and Waddell Falls, pre-eminent features of Victoria Park. Swimming at the falls is not recommended.

Be sure to visit the Holy Well and the Wishing Well. Both are located along Lepper Brook.

Victoria Park is a popular destination for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and fatbiking. During the winter months, there are approximately 20 kms of trails which are groomed for these purposes.

Location and Parking:
The main parking lot for Victoria Park is located at 29 Park Road, Truro. Additional Parking can be found at the end of Palmer Street, 212 Wood Street, or 40 Douglas Street.

The main parking lot for the Railyard Mountain Bike Park is located at 627 Young Street. Parking is also available in the Pump Track and Skills Park area. To access this parking, use the entrance located at 645 Young Street and keep to the left until you come to the Railyard Mountain Bike Park entrance signage.

Hours of Operation: Victoria Park is available for free public access. It is open year round. However, the park is only maintained from April until November.

Washrooms:
Public Washrooms are available at the main parking lot on Park Road and the Wood Street entrance at 212 Wood Street.
